Natural Stone Slabs Advice Laying A Patio: Ballast Or Hardcore And Where The Landscaping Fabric Should Go.?

Advice laying a patio: ballast or hardcore and where the landscaping fabric should go.? - natural stone slabs

I intend to build a terrace and a need to know that the substance has to go for gardening. If the region is mainly with the soil remains, what was the grass (before 2 years to have spent to kill under an old carpet on the lawn). I think hardcore 10cm ballast or after 5 cm of sand on which I will put the paving stones () without mortar.

My questions are:

1. Ballast is good? I need something at home without a mess can be treated (there is a terrace with no direct access to the garden to the rear) and seems easier to get small bags of ballast to hardcore luggable.

2. If all of this must be the fabric of gardening? Between hardcore and soil ballast? Between the gravel and sand? (probably not directly between the sand and stone blocks?)

Thank you in advance for any help or advice:)

Hello, as you said patio, raised beds and gravel REALEY work well together. But I have a question, and that is laying in your yard.
I think if you put the stone in the ground - Ballast - A layer - is to keep the sand was probably never to be stone ever found in the movement after the period of rain we have.
You might think Diging topsoil and put it in his career
Then put in their ballast water and hire a Whacker COMPACK page and use a mix fluffey Nice, 5 sand 1 part cement to move the stone and never called WLL 3sand 1 cement dry mixture, if the base is dry.
And you can put your fabric under your GrĂ¡valos, but your choice ----

I said: You have a choice, but the sand - cement - pasticiser read, but it may be prudent when adding water gradually Tim,E if you make a sponge ball in your hand on your list
And the beach 3 1 cement is somewhere between the stones, but only damp, not more, and marks the stone to ensure that the basic construction of dry and hard and dry weather. Then a turn waste from the upper floor with a soft brush

.----- As their base for digging the soil to make raised beds and an outdoor terrace. And the burden May BE 803 or 3 / 4 from the dust, but never sell land - --
